For more than 100 years, Gould League has made a significant impact on educational outcomes and conservation efforts and have inspired generations of Australians to be wildlife researchers, educators, pioneers and protectors.
Over the years, we have been fortunate to have government funding and or to be have been the beneficiary of major donations and bequests that have allowed our work to continue – and now with the impact of climate change bearing down on us, there’s never been a more important time for us to continue our work and provide important resources to schools, teachers and the community at large – especially whilst we rebuild after the devastating fires that killed 33 people, over a billion mammals, birds, bees and reptiles and burnt over 20 million hectares (roughly the size of Ireland) and recover from Covid 19.
