Volunteer with Gould League

Volunteers are at the heart of Gould League. For more than a century, passionate people have helped us connect communities with nature, inspire environmental action, and support lifelong learning about sustainability.

Whether you have a few hours to spare, can make a regular commitment, or are looking for a meaningful corporate volunteering experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Make a Difference

By volunteering with Gould League, you can help us:

  • Support environmental and sustainability education programs
  • Care for our learning centres and natural spaces
  • Assist with events, community engagement and special projects
  • Share your professional skills and expertise
  • Help us reach more people with our environmental education and conservation work

Every contribution, large or small, helps strengthen our impact and supports the communities we serve.

Why Volunteer With Us?

When you volunteer with Gould League, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to a respected environmental organisation with a history dating back to 1909
  • Support environmental education and sustainability initiatives

  • Meet like-minded people who care about the environment
  • Make a meaningful contribution to your local community

Child Safety Requirements

As part of our commitment to child safety, many volunteer roles involve working in environments where children are present. Volunteers may therefore be required to complete a Working with Children Check and hold a current Working with Children Card.
