Biscuit Sea Star – New Members Badges
Our latest membership badges have arrived and they are flying out the door with over 15 new members in the past 2 weeks!
The delightful biscuit sea star badge is to honour our connection with Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary, where we deliver engaging excursions exploring the intertidal rock platform and sandy beach, and acknowledge the wonderful support of Parks Victoria Friends Group, Marine Care Ricketts Point.
Not only are they the creators of the ‘Marine Education Centre’ which we utilise within the Beaumaris Life Saving Club, they also donate volunteer time to support our educators on excursions, prepare joint grant applications on our behalf and direct excursion inquiries our way. Their latest endeavour with BeachPatrol Australia is the 3193 Beach Patrol group will help keep the sanctuary free of excessive marine debris and storm-drain litter!
