Gould League NEW Secondary programs

As many teachers are aware, the curriculum for VCE Geography and Biology changed slightly this year, and Gould League have adjusted the content of our programs to meet your needs as a teachers of these subjects.

Engage your students with a visit to Kinglake and investigate the hydro-meterological hazards and disasters experienced by the local community and their response to the devastation. This trip is ideal for VCE Geography students conduct fieldwork and collect data for the unit’s SAC requirement.

Or perhaps you need to connect your Biology students with Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary where they explore the intertidal rockpools and use Parks Victoria’s Seasearch methods to collect and analyse data suitable for Unit 1, Area of study 3.

In addition, the Gould League have new marine programs for other Secondary levels (specifically Years 7 & 9 Science) at Ricketts Point which again have been developed in line with the Australian Curriculum.
